His achievements in academics and athletics led to a basketball scholarship at Illinois Central College, where he balanced his studies with competitive sports. Eeten attended Illinois Central College before transferring to Northern Illinois University, where he pursued a degree in Physical Education with a minor in Spanish. His college experience allowed him to strengthen essential skills such as teamwork, discipline, and communication. Upon graduating, he began his career in education, working as a teacher and coach. In these positions, he helped students improve their academic abilities and athletic performance while guiding them toward personal development. Andrew J. Eeten later decided to change his career direction, entering the retail industry in 2017 as a store manager at T-Mobile. In this role, he oversaw daily operations, worked directly with customers on wireless solutions, and managed store initiatives, including marketing and audits.
