As a person who has always been suspicious and dismissive of social media, I'm forcing myself to be open minded. I live in New Orleans, though I'm not originally from here. I recently left a well-paying, stable career in order to move back to the city I love and start all over. My best friend is my ten year old pit-bully girl, Kiki. She was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in January 2012; she's on meds and doing great for now. I love cooking, reading, running, eating, and good writing. While reading good writing is easy, creating it is another story.
