Hi! I am a Studio Artist and Community Arts Activist. On this blog, I will be sharing my passion for both. I believe in the power and transformative ability of both the making and sharing of art. I am a second year grad student at the University of Arizona and pursuing my MA degree in Arts and Visual Culture Education. I have a number of interests that include family and friends, enjoying nature, yoga when I have the time and ice cream (mint choc chip is my favorite). I live with a number of beings; Sam, my son; Cleo, PJ, and Sarahfeena (I can not take the credit for her name!), all cats; Coco Chanel, our ferret; Lily (a black lab), Charlie (a Jack Russell Terrier) and Thor (a Pomeranian - again, no name credit here!); and Daryll, a blue ring-necked parrot!
