I’m a 56 year old mother of three grown children who have recently started teaching me more than I ever thought possible when it comes to this fast passed world we live in. I could not be more proud of each and every one of them. I grew up with a religious background and after a unfortunate set of circumstances decided to stop attending a church at age 13 but in doing that it in no way turned my back on my belief system. I was about 8 when I was introduced to the Amish lifestyle on a family trip, and I remember thinking at that young age this was how life was meant to be lived! Peaceful, respectful, Community driven, living off the land instead of taking from the land! After that trip I never saw or heard about the Amish again until I was 48, when my sister in law gave me my first Amish Christian Fiction Book, from that moment I was hooked, God opened a path straight to my heart.
