Free software and technology enthusiast, you can usually find me breaking something just to figure out how it works. I have been fascinated by computers, software, and pretty much everything that has an integrated circuit ever since I can remember. Here you'll probably find me talking about the latest free and open source software, and sometimes proprietary. I admit that not all proprietary software is bad, only most of it. ;) I think that the four freedoms as defined by the GNU project are good ideals, but I also respect that a software author has the right to use whatever license he or she deems fit. I am not a proponent of software patents, DRM, or any other unreasonable restrictions against the user wishing to operate his or her devices as he or she sees fit. That's me in a nutshell, and my view on the free/proprietary software debate in a nutshell. I don't avoid Windows because it's not free, I avoid it because it is bloated, buggy, and stuffed with DRM like a thanksgiving turkey. Cheers! :)
