Once upon a time a preacher's girl, was adventurous-or crazy-enough to upgrade her status to that of pastor's wife and eventually gained her own title as minister at large. With my dude and our kids, Joshua and Jena, I lived as a missionary in New Zealand for over five years. In 2014, my dude and accepted the opportunity to move to Tanzania-East Africa two and a half years, leading an international church in one of the busiest locations in all of Dar Es Salaam. GOD carved out an eclectic ministry, encompassing more than I dreamt possible. You will find dangerously transparent confessions in my blog. Between the ages of 8-10, I was sexually abused by a trusted friend of the family. That ordeal left me plagued by poor self esteem, physical and psychological health challenges. But, I am who I am because in part because of that horrific part of my childhood. I'm NOT a typical fifty something year old pastor's wife-an angel fish, gracefully swimming in a squeaky clean fish bowl. I tend to venture beyond the safety flags, giving little notice to disingenuous, judgmental, pious, whistle blowers.
