Ken Yoshimoto is married to his wonderful bride of almost 30 years and they have been blessed with 5 wonderful children. Ken is a third-generation American of Japanese (and Okinawan) ancestry and was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Ken is an active community service volunteer in scouting and in the public schools. Ken is a seven time recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Service Gold Award and received a Lifetime Service Recognition for exceeding 5000 hours of non-religious community service in the last 7 years. Ken has scaled back his non-religious community service over the last two years to serve as a bishop, a lay minister, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
