Deejay

May 1, 1993, a healthy baby girl was born at Makati Medical Center at exactly 8:09 in the morning and named Diary Jade Peña Cortes. She was the youngest in the family of two. Diary Jade live at Dita Cuenca Batangas together with her parents, Rodelio De Guzman Cortes, from Makati City and was born on April 5, 1955 and the youngest in the family of four of Anita Cortes and Teofisto Cortes; and her mother, Digna Peña Cortes, from Dita Cuenca Batangas and was born on June 14, 1960 and the fourth child in the family of ten of Ambrosio Peña and Teodora Peña. Her sister, Dimple Cortes- Bastero, who was thirteen years older than her and was married to Roy Ryan Bastero. Diary Jade was called Deejay by her relatives and close friends. She started schooling at the age of 5 as a Day Care student at Brgy. Dita Day Care Center. At the age of six she entered the elementary life in Col. P. Pasia Memorial School at Dita Cuenca Batangas. She graduated elementary on year 2005 at the age of 11. She studied high school at Fermin La Rosa National High School and graduated on year 2009 at the age of 15. Diary was enrolled at AMA Computer College Lipa and taking up Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. She also worked on Smart Communications Inc. as an On-the-Job-Trainee at Sm City Lipa as part of one of the curriculum in her subjects. When she was fourteen, she became one of the participants on a contest held in their barangay that will help their church earn money for their projects. At the age of seventeen, she entered politics. Diary ran as SK Councilor ( Sangguniang Kabataan Councilor ) but unfortunately she lose. Even though Diary was not held as one of the SK Councilor in their barangay, she has been active in helping the SKs’ projects and supports them in all the things they were doing in their barangay. Diary was also an active member of one of the oldest group in their barangay which was Anak ng Makulot. Her dream was to finish her studies and find a good job someday. Diary wants to be successful in her future life. She wants to give back to all the sacrifices her parents and her siblings gave to her. Give everything what her parents want and to help her sister in building their own business. Diary knows that someday all her dreams will come true through the help of her love ones and by the guidance of our Lord Almighty.
