I've been around a long time and done lots of things: zoologist (Glasgow University - PhD re-establishing Cornish Chough), naturalist, badger protector, writer (13 books & >100 articles and papers), illustrator, cinema projectionist. Writer of surreal yet old-fashioned eco-thrillers and adventures for children of all ages 9-99. Primary School teacher, lecturer, cricket coach and biker. I'm also devoting a lot of time to writing lyrical poetry - much of it you might describe as eco-poetry though, personally, I hate labels in art: I like to think of it simply as Poetry.
