Once you step over the threshold a feeling of welcome fills the air, a warm greeting and thoughts of cozy overwhelm your senses. A house becomes a home when it is filled with love. My name is Elizabeth Bruick, for seven years we have lived in California, this born and bred family from the Midwest has been exploring this great state of California visiting beaches, mountains, exciting cities and seeing more beautiful scenery than I knew California had. But my favorite place of all is the house I call home. We knew when we stepped into our house for the first time, it was just the place we had hoped for. A large backyard complete with a swimming pool, a spacious living area for the five of us and plenty of room for guests. It has become our cozy home built on the cornerstone of Christ’s love. In this blog I will be sharing some of my favorite things, cooking and baking being at the top of my list. I recently had the experience of teaching a cooking class to a few ladies and I will share that recipe with you. Being a parent and encouraging other moms in the day to day excursions of motherhood is a passion of mine. Most of all living a life of love for Jesus and being a testimony for Him is the desire of my heart. Welcome to Making your House a Home!
