Hi! My name is Elaine. I am a retired elementary and junior high school teacher living in a small prairie town in Alberta, Canada. I am the mother of three grown children and grandmother of eight. I enjoy reading, writing, drama, golfing, travelling, camping, hiking and keeping fit. I’m a blue jeans kind of girl believes in living life to the fullest and I'm always ready to try something new. I am wholly committed to my faith in Jesus Christ and my best friend is my husband, Richard. Since August 2013, I have been dealing with a chronic cancer that has somewhat curtailed our ability to leave home for long periods of time (such as our year in Japan and our five months in China), but I feel well and I am blessed to be able to continue living an active and productive life.
