I am the work at home mother/step-mother to softball team size literal bunch of children. There is, in order of age, Alice Nicole-16 years old (who attends school in Kentucky where I am originally from), Joey, Jr-14 and Justin-11 (who live in Richmond, VA with their mother), John-6 yrs, Matthew-5 yrs, Joany 4 yrs and Aiden 2 yrs (all of whom live with me). Alice and Aiden are my biological children. Matthew is my nephew by my previous marriage and I've had him since he was 9 months old-therefore, my son, PERIOD! :) Joey, Jr., Justin, John and Joany are all the wonderful children of my partner Joey. One day (soon hopefully lol) we will have things squared away with our previous spouses and be able to skip out to Vegas and make it all official! I quit my corporate management career in order to stay home and be more available to them especially my 5 year old son Matthew who has severe ADHD. Being that I am a fairly educated woman and having worked outside the home since I was 11 years old, transitioning to being a stay at home mom has been quite the process. After having gotten into a routine with housework and children, then moving onto revamping my crochet skills to the point of trying to learn how to knit, I finally started researching work at home options that would allow me to keep my 2 year old home with me. However, as I am an extremely social being, I have discovered that blogging is my outlet and after being a lurker and/or fan of many other bloggers, I have decided to start my own blog to keep touch with the "outside" world!
