John Scoular

John is an award winning Writer | Director and President of Tamderek Films Inc.“Life is subtext and metaphors: it is the revelation of what is behind the words that I’m after. Blurring the line between reality and the magic of the fantastical is where I like to live...” John began his career studying Drama at the University of Texas at El Paso on scholarship, where he also led as quarterback of the Division 1A football squad. Upon finishing at University, his artistic path led him to New York to continue his studies at Herbert Berghof Studios most notably under renowned character actor Bill Hickey. His writing and directing has inspired critics as well, "...promising, heartfelt and intimate. Always seeking to expand his artistic skills John returned to his studies at The Los Angeles Film School graduating with Honors in both Directing and Cinematography.
