Kendra Auguste is a doctoral student in the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida. She earned her M.A. in Mass Communications in 2014 and a Master of Public Health degree in 2013, both from the University of Florida. Her research interests include health communication, crisis communication, and determinants of health behavior change. Currently, she is working with the UF/IFAS Extension Family Nutrition Program, Florida’s SNAP-Ed implementing agency, as the Public Health Coordinator. Her work entails implementing policy, system, and environmental change related to nutrition and physical activity in community settings.
