Kishor Wasan was a tenured professor and assistant dean of research at the University of British Columbia until 2014. Dr. Wasan has been heavily involved in the development of innovative research and teaching programmes, and he has over 520 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts published in top journals. During his 19 years of independent research at UBC, he has showed success in guiding research programmes. Wasan earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin and a doctorate in cellular and molecular pharmacology from the University of Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Kishor Wasan has worked as a pharmacist in both retail and hospital settings, and he still has a Texas pharmacist licence.
