Artist, printmaker, family historian and writer. Born on the Essex coast, I now live in the north east of England: flat landscapes and sea-edged horizons are essential to my well-being. As a printmaker inspired by both landscape and history I like the fact that the the impact of past actions on the present – man’s mark on the landscape and its subsequent erosion - is replicated in the printmaking process.
