I'm a wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend. Each one of these 'titles' is precious to me. In my professional life I'm a Realtor®, teacher, mentor and encourager. I've been married for...well a long time! Barry and I married in 1974 and let's just saw a lot of living has taken place in those many years and I am hoping and praying there will be many, many more years and much more living. I've had many jobs, lived many places and traveled a lot. Barry and I have had 28 or 29 addresses in our married life and we're not done yet. I'm an immigrant and proud of it. I was born and raised in Canada, came to the US for college and never returned home to live. I became an American citizen in 1990, but I dearly love both my country of birth and my country of citizenship. We currently live in Virginia, right outside of Washington, DC. I'm a Realtor and I love my work. A perfect fit..as they say, but those who have known me for decades would tell you I've said that about most of my jobs over the years. I guess that's a good thing. I'm a Christian. My personal faith is a driving force in my life. I used to 'talk' a lot about it, but now I want to talk less and live more so people will know I am serious about my faith because of how I live and treat others. I hope you will come along on my journey through this blog and in doing so I hope I can learn about YOU as well.
