Monica's Musings

Anyone who knows me can tell you that if you ask my opinion, I usually have something to say. I love conversation and learning; perhaps even over-analyzing. The predisposition to advise comes naturally. My mother must have known something was in the air, because my name, Monica, means "The Advisor." What it really should mean is "The Student." I find I learn more than I advise. I am an ENFJ, according to the Meyer-Briggs personality spectrum, which is a teacher. So is Oprah, although I have no illusions of being compared to her in any way. While I have taught a variety of subjects, the ones closest to my heart are music and teaching non-profits how to be better. Of course, if they are listening, I have things to say to my large brood of young adult children. And anyone questioning life, looking for self-improvement (a good idea for us all), photography, politics, cooking and golf will find a friend in me. Let's find something to discuss!
