Amy Boroff, Development Director, Junior Achievement of New Jersey (JANJ), joined the organization as a fundraising consultant in February 2007. Amy came to the organization with over ten years experience in event management. Amy’s focus at JANJ is raising funds for the organization through events such as Bowl-a-Thons and Golf Outings, while developing relationships with new and existing partnering companies. She has played a key role in the branding and marketing of JANJ through social media and is currently working to redevelop the JANJ website. Amy is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts. She studied and graduated with BAs in Elementary Education and in Sociology. Her passion is working with children and JANJ gives her the ability to return to her roots as a teacher. She has great satisfaction in knowing the work she is doing is impacting today's youth. She currently resides in Fanwood, NJ with her husband Demian, daughter Aliette and their dog Dewey. Before JANJ, Amy was a Fundraising Manager at the National MS Society in the New York City office. Under her management the New York City MS Walk successfully reached a record-breaking $1.6 million. Following the MS Society Amy managed conventions for John Wiley and Sons, Inc. She remained with Wiley for seven years, during which there were three major acquisitions. Her accomplishments during this time include the development of two internal websites to increase staff efficiency.
