In today’s era, everyone is working hard to earn a living and live a happy life. However there is one thing that binds all of them together and that is Food. No matter where you are from and what your ethnicity is, you always have to love what you eat. And as I was born and raised in the western Part of Mumbai in India, where there are many varieties and options for food, I was no less than a foodie. As I grew up I developed a taste of good food. I was open to try new cuisines and was quite interested in learning what other cultures had to offer. I finished my schooling in India and went to UK to finish my education. Being far from home and missing my family, I also missed Indian food and my mothers cooking. There were few restaurants that did serve Indian food but the platform I was used to back home was way far from what I was getting in the UK. With all the good food missed, I decided to take things in my own hands and thought I should give it a try. Because learning is the only way I could treat myself to authentic food. And since then I put serious efforts to learn the basics of cooking and what can make a dish outstanding. Gradually with the skills I had to experiment with food and come out with something unique and an even better tasting recipe, it created more interest in me to cook many other items. I was content with the results and happy that being away from home I can cook and manage to treat myself and also please my fellow friends who were away from home and missing food. Even now while I am away from home, I try my best to cook what I love to eat, whenever I can make some time. With all these food interests I have, I believe its now my interest and in a way a responsibility to share the recipes with you all and make you the mater chef of your own kitchen.
