Course: BA Communication Research Favorite Book: The Book Thief By Markus Zusak I read the last 50 pages of this book weeping. I’ve read quite a lot of books during my teenage years but none of them have ever seemed to top the book thief. This book takes such an interesting perspective on what is, in my opinion, an overly written about period of history. Having Death as the narrator for parts of the story really gave it a unique touch. Favorite Film & Why: Harry Potter series Simply because I grew up with this film. The idea of a magical world and a wizarding school somewhere in the highlands of scotland just made my childhood and teenage years a lot more colorful. Favorite Song & Why: Blue Ocean Floor by Justin Timberlake (or Jaden Smith’s rendition) It’s a mixture of piano pokes and stretched-out melodies that gives me the feeling of being underwater. Both the lyrics and tune allow me to paint a perfect picture of the ocean in my head, it’s very relaxing. Favorite media practitioner & Why: Kren Davila. Her career has been expansive and impressive. Internet Site & Why: Youtube channel : simply_kenna (https://www.youtube.com/user/McKaelinn) I can spend hours on youtube watching everything and anything. I mostly like browsing through vlogs and anything fashion or make-up related. In particular, I like simply_kenna’s channel because her style and interests are similar to mine. Meal: Salmon Sashimi I love sushi! This one's my favorite kind.
