MD Samiul Islam is a Generative AI and Machine Learning Engineer and Information System Consultant based in Edmonton, Alberta. He holds a Ph.D. in Computing Science from the University of Alberta, specializing in model interpretability, responsible AI adoption, and scalable AI pipelines. Samiul has extensive experience leading impactful, data-driven projects—ranging from satellite-based crop mapping to flood prediction and disease control. His technical expertise spans frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain, alongside MLOps experience on Azure, AWS, and GCP. Driven by a passion for solving real-world challenges, he excels at the intersection of cutting-edge research and production-ready industry solutions. Currently, he is working as Information Systems Consultant.
