Sarah Warren

Sarah Warren is an accomplished entrepreneur in Tallahassee, Florida, whose career is rooted in over a decade of legal experience in public finance and representation of local government entities. She built a reputation for offering practical legal strategies and strong business judgment, guiding clients through complex bond financing transactions and advising numerous special taxing districts. Today, she channels her professional expertise into independent business ventures alongside her husband, Gabe. Raised in Aspen, Colorado, Sarah graduated from Aspen High School in 2002 as a member of the National Honor Society. She attended Rollins College in Orlando, Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Communications in 2006, graduating cum laude. A leader during her college years, she served as president of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2010, where she was Associate Editor of the Environmental Journal and gained hands-on experience through the International Law Practice Clinic. Her career began at American Express in 2011, where she excelled in corporate account business development, ranking among the top performers both as a rookie and as an experienced manager. By 2013, she returned to the legal field, joining the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity’s Office of the General Counsel, focusing on community planning and strategic business development. In 2014, Sarah became a shareholder at Hopping Green & Sams, P.A., specializing in the creation and governance of special districts, public finance, and infrastructure development projects across Florida. Her work included serving as Issuer’s Counsel for financing public infrastructure like roadways, utilities, and stormwater systems to support residential and mixed-use communities. In 2022, she joined Bryant Miller Olive P.A., continuing her public finance practice and collaborating with government agencies, underwriters, and trustees to achieve successful financing outcomes. Her career encompassed deep expertise in tax-exempt bonds, special district governance, underwriter’s counsel services, and public infrastructure development. Beyond her professional life, Sarah Warren is active in the Urban Land Institute, contributing to leadership initiatives and educational programs. A lifelong equestrian, she has competed nationally and co-founded the Rollins College Equestrian Team. She also enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing, as well as reading and creative writing, passions rooted in her academic background.
