The Veteran

A refugee from Auckland and living in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Semi-retired but travel extensively around the country in connection with my work. Married to the same wonderful lady for 50 plus years, two children and five grandchildren. Interests are politics, golf (which I play incredibly badly), rugby, fine food, golf, cricket, league (sort of, but not the Warriors), golf and politics. Define myself as a liberal in the Gladstonian tradition ... avowed free-trader but a liberal on social policy. Believer in hand-ups over hand-outs. Enjoy light classical (while riding my exercycle).
