Queen Bean

The Magic Bean Farm, located in Central Vermont, is owned and operated by Sarah Graves (that's me). On the farm I grow vegetables, herbs and flowers while working to not only maintain but improve the soil, create habitat for native pollinators and minimize the use of non-renewable resources. This means the bulk of the farm work is done by hand, with traditional farm tools and a lot of muscle. The goal for this farming model is to provide the community with food from a small grower, build soil and habitat for native, beneficial wildlife and create an atmosphere that encourages exploration, curiosity and learning specifically as it pertains to food independence.
